Give back to help hungry kids in West Michigan

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOTV) – Kids’ Food Basket feeds thousands of local kids every year. These Sack Suppers are a nutritious, ready-to-eat meal delivered right to a child’s classroom or summer site, ensuring children have access to the healthy food they need to thrive. Now, you can give back to Kids’ Food Basket in a fun way by helping them provide an extra touch of love to every child! Rally your friends and family to decorate a bag for Brown Bag Decorating Day by Saturday, October 22 and help Kids’ Food Basket reach their goal of 75,000 decorated bags!

Decorated Sack Supper bags provide kids with an extra touch of love – the secret ingredient to success! Teachers and school staff tel us that kids can’t wait to get their decorated Sack Suppers, and that to some children, that extra touch of love and caring makes all the difference. Drop off your decorated bags on Brown Bag Decorating Day, Saturday, October 22, from 10:00AM-1:00PM at one of the easy drive-through, drop-off locations. If you can’t make it on Saturday, feel free to drop decorated bags off during regular business hours, Monday – Friday from 9:00AM-5:00PM, anytime between October 1 and October 22.
