GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV)- If you’re looking for some sweet inspiration for an easy, fun treat for your next party or work potluck try building an apple sundae bar. If you’re a busy mom like me, you’ll love this idea! This no-fuss treat doesn’t require any baking, mixing or cooking, it’s all about the presentation!
My husband is a teacher and at his school they have a rotating snack person to supply goodies for the teacher’s lounge. This was our week and I was excited to come up with a fun idea. Knowing it would be a weeknight I needed something that didn’t require a lot of time or energy (which I lack on most weeknights!). I came up with this idea and think it would also work well for a kid’s birthday party, a school treat for kids or any potluck.
Here’s a list of what you need and how to display it to wow your friends, co-workers or guests.
Apple Sundae Bar
2 bags of apples
Step 1: Wash apples and fill a large bowl.
Step 2: Place a colorful cupcake liner in the bottom of mason jar and fill with toppings. Place a square of plastic wrap over each jar and seal with the mason jar ring. Next use a cute sticker to label each jar.
Step 3: Display your syrups.
Step 4: Create a quick sign using post-it notes or picture frames.
Step 6: Display your sundae bar for everyone to enjoy!
