GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Bullying is a real problem in West Michigan schools. As students prepare to go back to class, there’s an event that encourages them to stand up and speak out against bullying.
The United to End Bullying anti-bullying rally takes place on Saturday, September 3 from noon to 3 p.m. There will be performances and family-friendly activities that will teach children and teens how to identify bullying behaviors, how to prevent bullying, and how to respond effectively to bullies.
Students will also have access to back to school supplies at the rally. It takes place on Lafayette Street in Grand Rapids, between Franklin and Sycamore SE.
