Labor Day BoardWALK and Pancake Breakfast, Kollen Park, Holland
September 5, 8 a.m.
Walk begins at Heinz Waterfront Walkway and continues along Kollen Park boardwalk to end at Windmill Island Gardens. Pancake breakfast from 8:30 to 10:30 is $5 for adults, $3 for kids ages 4-16 and free for kids 3 and under.
Labor Day Walk/Fun Run, Fisherman’s Landing, Muskegon
September 5, 8 a.m.
5K starts at 8:30 a.m. Four mile walk starts at 9:30 a.m. free! Pre-registration encouraged, but not required.
Labor Day Bridge Walk, Saugatuck
September 5, 9 – 10 a.m.
Walk starts on Douglas side of the Blue Bridge and proceeds to the Saugatuck side. Free!
Labor Day Community Bridge Walk, Grand Haven
September 5, 9 a.m. – noon
Walk starts on north side of 3rd Street Bridge and ends at Chinook Pier. Win prizes from local businesses!
Holland/Zeeland Labor Day Truck Parade
September 5, 9:15 a.m.
Parade of vehicles starts at 9:15 a.m. in downtown Zeeland and heads to downtown Holland, ending with an ice cream social and giveaways at the Civic Center.
Labor Day Community Walk, Whitehall
September 5, 10 – 11 a.m.
Walk takes place on the Hart-Montague Bike Trail starting on Spring Street behind Whitehall Products and Montague Foods in Montague.
Labor Day Wristband Special, Craig’s Cruisers, Wyoming
September 5, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Wristbands include unlimited Pizza & Pasta Buffet from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and unlimited attractions (Indoor Go-Karts, Laser Tag, Ropes Course, Bumper Cars and Frog Hopper. Weather permitting attractions include: Outdoor Go-Karts, Mini-Golf, Kiddie Karts and Bumper Boats). $25 per person plus tax.
West Michigan United Labor Day Parade, Hackley Park, Muskegon
September 5, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Parade with free post-parade celebration with food, games, prizes, face painting, bounce houses, arts and crafts, and more!
Labor Fest, An-Nab-Awen Park, Grand Rapids
September 5, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Live entertainment, rides, inflatables, sidewalk chalk art, fire safety house, face painting, fire safety house, food, exhibits, free admission all day to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum.
