GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Downtown Grand Rapids is the home to a celebration of Latin American culture the weekend of August 26 through 28. The 39th annual Hispanic Festival is at Calder Plaza with plenty of food, music, live entertainment, and activities for the whole family.
The Hispanic Festival is recognized as the largest ethnic festival in West Michigan and one of the largest festivals of its kind in the state. There’s authentic Mexican, Cuban, Caribbean, and Central American food as well as a Mercado with clothing, jewelry, accessories, and more.
Don’t miss one of the activity booths for kids including goodies and a craft from Kent District Library and coloring sheets from Meijer.
The third annual Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network 3v3 Futsal Tournament is on Saturday and Sunday and the Hispanic Festival is also one of 19 national stops for the McDonald’s® FiestaTour Annual Latin Grammy® Experience.
