COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. (WOTV) A program in Comstock Park Public Schools not only provides clothing and food items for families in the district, it also gives an outlet for other families to provide that assistance.
The Giving Closet was started in 2012 by the Comstock Park Community Outreach Organization. It offers free used clothing and non-perishable food items for Comstock Park families in need. It is open three times a month during the school year and twice a month during the summer. Families are allowed to fill two bags of clothing and select up to 20 food items per visit.
