Get to know your local farmers markets

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) – To me, summer means fresh smoothies, happy salads, and ripe fruit in the morning. There’s something about this time of year that makes you want to eat from the earth. It’s refreshing, tasty, and visually appealing. If you’re anything like me, head out to some of your West Michigan farmer’s markets. There’s so many more than you think! Following these Instagram account will make you crave the goodness, and crave the local eats! Here are a few of my favorites.

Hudsonville Farmer’s Market – Wednesdays, 8am-2pm

Holland Farmer’s Market – Wednesdays and Saturdays, 8am-3pm

Downtown Market GR – Monday through Saturday 9am-7pm, Sunday 10am-7pm

Ada Village Farmers Market – Tuesdays, 11am-4pm

Rockford Farmers Market – Saturdays, 8am-1pm

Kalamazoo Farmers Market – Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays 7am-2pm

Battle Creek Farmers Market – Wednesdays and Saturdays, 9am-1pm
