GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Maranda and the Park Party crew are planning a super-sized day of fun in Kentwood for the fifth Maranda Park Party of the summer! The afternoon of free fun is set for Thursday, July 21 at East Kentwood High School from noon until 2 p.m. Everyone is invited and everything is free!
This party is going to be packed with fun things to see and do. In fact, the Kentwood Park Party will have the most attractions of any Maranda Park Party to date! Kids can enjoy nine rides and activities including the Ferris wheel, a giant bounce house, football and basketball inflatables and a special bounce house just for toddlers. Plus the viewers’ choice activity for this party was a tie, so Maranda decided to bring both the Zip line and the Giant Obstacle Course!
The party includes other special features like free haircuts for kids from Grand Rapids First Church, fun games and activities from dozens of areas organizations and don’t miss a special presentation by the Cheer Company of Michigan and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus on the Craig’s Cruisers performance stage! Bring a bag of gently used items to donate to the Bethany Christian Services thrift store and receive a free Entertainment Book!
Once again, in working with USDA, Michigan Department of Education and local school districts, free lunch will be served to anyone 18 and under starting at 11:30 a.m., while supplies last.
The Park Party team will be traveling to the final party next week bringing a supersized celebration to all.
