GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV)- If you’ve got a baby in tow this summer you may have learned all of that outside time can be a challenge. The sun can get hot, your baby may be crawling or on the move and you want to spend time getting your flowers planted, the garden weeded or spending time playing with your older child. So what’s a mom to do? I found this fun trick on Instagram while looking for creative parenting hacks. What a cool idea!
Have some gardening to do but don't know what to do with your baby since there's so many flying bugs outside? Easy put their portable crib outside and cover it with a crib sheet. Your baby gets to breath in the fresh air and you don't have to worry about mosquitos or other creepy crawlers. #parenting #parentingdoneright #parenting101 #parentingwin #parentingadvice #parentingtips #parentingatitsbest #parentingsolutions #parentinghacks #motherhood #fatherhood #kids #instakids #ig_kids #picoftheday #positivevibes
I love this idea because you simply need to haul your pack and play outside and find a shady spot. Place baby inside and cover it with a fitted crib sheet. The mesh sides allow the breeze to blow through but all the pesky bugs stay out. Plus it blocks the direct sunlight. Your baby can sit and play (within your eye distance) and you can work and play too!
