Kent County students break the mold by breaking tradition

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Four Kent County female students are being recognized by breaking into fields dominated by males. Two Kent Career Technical Center students were among 32 students across Michigan to receive 2016 Breaking Traditions Awards from the Michigan Department of Education on Thursday, May 12. Two other students also received certificates of recognition for pursuing careers in male-dominated industries. Click here to read more about how they’re breaking the mold.
