Fun events for Memorial Day weekend

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) The unofficial kick-off to summer is here and there are so many events happening around West Michigan for Memorial Day weekend! Fruitport Old Fashioned Days
Wednesday, May 25 – Monday, May 30
Car show, kiddie parade, talent show, community marketplace, 5K and 10K runs, and Memorial Day parade!

Tuesink’s Pony Farm Spring Activities, Holland
Saturday, May 28, 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Pony ring ride, hayride, hay maze, fishing, penny hunt, barn animals, exotic birds, feed sheep and goats ($0.50 a bag). Kids ages 1 to 16 are $8, adults are $5.

Save for Education Day, John Ball Zoo, Grand Rapids
Sunday, May 29, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Discounted admission of $5.29 in honor of 529 college savings plans. Special price is valid with a coupon available on the zoo’s website or Facebook page and at any Edward Jones office.

Memorial Day Wristband Special, Craig’s Cruisers, Wyoming
Monday, May 30, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Special $25 wristband deal includes unlimited attractions including indoor go-karts, laser tag, ropes course, bumper cars, and Frog Hopper. Outdoor attractions include go-karts, kiddie karts, mini golf, and bumper boats (weather permitting). Also includes buffet access from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
