GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) There are so many options for summer camp in West Michigan, but there is one that educates kids and teaches them to be a valuable part of the community.

Arts Alive Camp takes place June 20 through 23 at First United Methodist Church in Grand Rapids. The camp teaches kids art, music, dancing, drumming, and has a bible study.

This year, Arts Alive is teaming with Kids’ Food Basket for a super hero themed experience. Kids are transformed into Hunger Heroes to learn about needs in their community and how they can help solve hunger needs for kids who are just like them.

Arts Alive Camp is available for kids entering first through sixth grade in the fall. Online registration is open until Wednesday, June 15 or call (616) 451-2879 to send registration by mail. Cost is $60 per camper and scholarships are still available upon request.
