GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) April is Autism Awareness Month and West Michigan is so lucky to have a one-of-a-kind center for children.
Wedgwood Christian Services’ Autism Center for Child Development does comprehensive early intensive behavior intervention for children ages 18 months to six years who have autism spectrum disorder.
The center addresses all areas that are affected by a child’s autism spectrum disorder including social skills, safety skills, adaptive behavior like dressing themselves, feeding themselves, toileting, as well as academics and even parent training. All of this is done in a fun, engaging environment.
If you think your child might have an autism spectrum disorder, contact the Autism Center for Child Development or talk to your doctor.
