WestFest 2016 Carnival, John Ball Park, Grand Rapids

Four day carnival, family sock hop Friday night, classic car show Saturday morning, food, fun, and activities. Carnival wristband vouchers $18 in advance at Sacred Heart Academy or $25 at the carnival.
Kalamazoo Rock, Gem, Jewelry, Fossil & Mineral Show, Kalamazoo County Expo Center
Friday, April 29 – Sunday, May 1
Learn about rocks, minerals, meteorites, and fossils. Pan for gold, learn about silver smithing, and dinosaurs. Games, displays, demonstrations, and more! Adults $3, kids 12 and under free with a paid adult. Scouts free when in uniform.
Public Nights at the Veen Observatory, Lowell
Saturday, April 30, 9:30 p.m. – midnight
