GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) There is a new team in town and they are tearing up the field. The Grand Rapids Football Club is making goals and head-butting its way to the top.
The minor league soccer team started last year and has become very popular. The players consist of many former college players and some former professional players. They play their home games at Houseman Field in Grand Rapids.
The Grand Rapids Football Club has a partnership with Spectrum Health Sports Medicine to make sure players stay healthy. There are trainers on hand at every practice and game to make sure players are warmed up and stretched and to treat any minor injuries.
