GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV)- As your child grows you’ll notice they hit new “stages” all of the time! Now that my son is 4-years-old we have to make sure the closet light is on and we do a sweep under the bed every night because his growing imagination is leading to growing fears.
In a toddler or preschooler’s mind they can have a hard time separating fact from fiction and the fear can feel very real. If you don’t want a scared little one climbing into your bed every night try this trick! Make “Monster Spray” with your child and let them spray down the spooky spots in their room! Works like charm.
How to make Monster Spray
Step 1: Use construction paper to cut a label to fit your spray bottle.
Step 2: Let your child use a glue stick to adhere the label.
Step 3: Stick your label on your spray bottle.
Step 4: Use up old Halloween stickers and let your child design the label.
Step 5: Fill with water and use nightly to spray spooky spots.
