GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) A lot of changes are happening at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids. The museum closed in October 2015 to undergo extensive renovations.
Much of the museum has been gutted, with a staff of between 40 and 300 people, depending on the job being done. Everyone from excavators and concrete workers to painters and carpenters are working to complete the project. Maranda went behind the scenes to see the work first-hand and try some of it out!
The museum will re-open with a celebration and re-dedication on June 7, 2016.
