GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Personal trainer Jake Siegel shows Maranda something new by introducing her to the slam ball. A slam ball is unlike a traditional medicine ball because it’s filled with sand, so it doesn’t bounce. You can use it for fitness by slamming it down, squatting down to pick it up, lifting it to your chest, then up in the air.
