GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOTV) – We have been following Jennifer Sklener’s training with Sole Sisters on her road to the Gazelle Girl half marathon. Last week, Jennifer was getting pumped for the big, double-digit, 10 mile run. She dug deep to find the motivation she needed to hit the pavement, here’s how the run went:
“Make small changes and keep making them. Never lose sight of your big goal. But don’t get frustrated if you slip.” Jennifer (quote from former post)
March 12, 2016:
We did it. Ten miles today. For many of us, it was our first time attempting double digits. One of my running mates was recovering from the flu and the other had a cold, but we did it.
Looking forward to attempting twelve miles next Saturday.
