John Ball Zoo Opens for the Season, Grand Rapids
Saturday, March 12, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
First day of the season for John Ball Zoo! $7 for adults, $6 for children 2-12, children under 2 free.

Super Saturday Kids Zone, Grand Rapids Community College Fieldhouse
Saturday, March 12, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Carnival with inflatables, dancing, music, games, surprise guests, and more! Tickets: $7. Children under 1 do not require a ticket.

Star Wars Night, Grand Rapids Griffins, Van Andel Arena
Saturday, March 12, 7 p.m.
Star Wars Night presented by DTE Energy. More than 50 costumed characters will interact with fans. Photo area, light sabers for sale, post-game open skate. Proceeds benefit the Griffins Youth Foundation.

Maple Sugar Festival, Kalamazoo Nature Center
Saturday, March 12 – Sunday, March 13, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Pancake breakfast, activities and crafts, maple sugar tours, nature hikes, treats, demonstrations, wagon rides, and more! Free for members. Non-members: $7/adult, $6/senior, $4/child (4-17), children 3 and under are free.

Irish floats, bands, organizations, and businesses in a fun, family-friendly parade! Runs from Fourth to Jefferson along Clay Ave.

16th annual parade for family fun! Starts at Burdick St. Mall at Michigan Avenue.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade, downtown Holland
Saturday, March 12, noon
Parade beings at Eighth Street Marketplace and travels east down Eighth Street.

14th annual ‘Erin Go Bark! Pets and their People Parade, Saugatuck
Saturday, March 12, 2 p.m.
Pet and people parade with prizes! Line up at 1:30 p.m. at Culver Street parking lot next to Saugatuck Center for the Arts.

Lighted St. Patrick’s Day Parade, downtown Coloma
Saturday, March 12, 8 p.m.
Lighted parade at 8 p.m. Irish story with craft and a cookie for kids at Coloma Public Library at 1 p.m. Irish Stew Dinner at Coloma United Methodist Church 5 – 7 p.m.
