GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) – Tragic events like the shooting rampage in Kalamazoo are difficult to comprehend. But they’re even more difficult to explain to children. That’s why Maranda is devoting the first portion of Monday’s “Maranda Where You Live” show to the topic.
Parents don’t want to scare their children, but it’s important to take the time to communicate messages of safety to children and that bad things happen to good people. Maranda is bringing in a panel of experts to help parents be prepared with segments addressing why bad things happen, desensitization of children, and how to explain random acts of violence.
“Maranda Where You Live” airs at 4:30 p.m. on WOTV 4 Women. See where you can watch by clicking here!
