GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Spoiler alert: this post is going to be a big fat downer.
I’m feeling a little discouraged right now. I haven’t run in a week. I came down with a cold after accomplishing only the first day of week six and I haven’t stepped foot on my treadmill since. With a runny nose, chest congestion, cough, and exhaustion, I didn’t have any energy for huffing and puffing on the treadmill.
“Doing one week over again isn’t starting over.”
So where do I go from here? Despite the little setback, I’m not going to beat myself up about it. When I feel healthy again (hopefully soon), I will start over with week six, day one. Doing one week over again isn’t starting over.
I’m happy I have plenty of time before the race to stay on track. I still have my eye on that finish line!
