GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Going to the dentist can be a scary experience for some kids. Dr. Meggan Krause and the team at Growing Smiles Pediatric Dentistry help take that fear away by making it a fun experience.
The fun starts in the waiting room, where kids can play in a row boat and watch a kid-friendly movie. Dental visits are all about education when children are very young. When they’re older and go in for dental treatment, sunglasses, nitrous gas, and movies help put them at ease. Dr. Krause demonstrates dental tools to kids in a way that’s fun and easy to understand. At the end of each visit, every child gets to choose a toy.
Growing Smiles Pediatric Dentistry recommends children first see a dentist six months after the eruption of their first tooth or by their first birthday, then every six months after that.
