A fracture clinic just for kids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Kids are active, and accidents happen. That’s why there’s a team of experts at the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Pediatric Orthopedic Clinic. The clinic sees kids with orthopedic conditions and also includes a fracture clinic. The staff loves children and works to make the process easy and as friendly as possible for the kids and their parents.

Signs of a fracture or break

  • The child is not acting like him/herself
  • The child is guarding his/her arm or leg
  • The child is not walking or putting weight on an arm or leg

No referral is needed to go to the fracture clinic. Walk-ins are welcome from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. through May 1, 2016.
