Special Needs Open Swim, Holland Community Aquatic Center
Saturday, November 14, 10 a.m. – noon
Open swim, water games, Wiggle Bridge, Splash Zone all open to families of those with special needs. Holland residents: $4.25 (with ID). Non-residents: $5.50.
Annual Kalamazoo Holiday Parade
Saturday, November 14, 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
The 52nd annual parade features giant balloons, floats, and more fun. Free! Traditional parade route including Lovell at Pharmacia parking lot, to Park Street, to Michigan, to downtown Kalamazoo.
Snowboard Super Saturday, Muskegon Museum of Art
Saturday, November 14, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Free admission to the museum! Participants can create their own snowboard ornament for the museum’s Super Saturday Christmas Tree, which will be part of the Festival of Trees.
Princess Tea Party, Horizon Complex, Jenison
Saturday, November 14, 2:30 – 4 p.m.
Guests are encouraged to wear a princess dress and bring a stuffed animal for a princess tea party. Juice, cookies, princess stories, nail polishing, and scavenger hunt. $13 (for ages 3 ½ to 7).
Grand Rapids Drive Opening Night, DeltaPlex Arena, Walker
Saturday, November 14, 7 p.m.
The Grand Rapids Drive take on the Delaware 87ers in the first game of the season. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets $5-$30.
