Treats and Trails, Outdoor Discovery Center, Holland
Friday, October 23 – Saturday, October 24, 5 – 8 p.m.
Family-friendly trick-or-treating event with activities. Candy stations, games, crafts, barrel rides, and live animals. $5 per vehicle.

Flick’s Family Film Festival, Celebration! Cinema
October 23 – 29
Last week of the fall Flick’s Family Film Festival! Kids 12 and under can see “Minions” for free. Adult tickets are $5.

“Sleepy Hollow,” Grand Rapids Civic Theatre
October 23 – November 1
Children’s musical comedy about the classic Halloween tale. Tickets $18-$35.

12th Annual Family Fire Safety Day, Lowe’s, Portage
Saturday, October 24, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Free smoke alarms and batteries, tour the E.S.C.A.P.E. Smoke Demonstration trailer, fire truck, and ambulance. Free games and prizes. Meet Jake the Fire Safety Dog and WOOD TV8’s Bill Steffen. Halloween costume contest with prizes at 11 a.m.

Haunted Museum, Tri-Cities Historical Museum, Grand Haven
Saturday, October 24, 1 – 5 p.m.
The community is invited to see the museum decked out in Halloween decorations. Free and family friendly!
