GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Fall is a good time to gather the family and take in a good flick. Jenny Garone from Celebration! Cinema has the scoop on family-friendly features this fall.

Goosebumps (PG) – A young kid teams up with the niece of young adult horror author R.L. Stine after the writer’s imaginary demons are set free on the town of Greendale, Maryland.

Woodlawn (PG) In 1973, a spiritual awakening captures the hearts of the Woodlawn High School Football team. Lead by their coach, Tandy Geralds, and fueled by the team’s dedication to love and unity in a school filled with racism and hate, the team makes an astounding run at the playoffs, leading to the largest high school football game ever played in the torn city of Birmingham, Alabama, and the rise of it’s first African American superstar – Tony Nathan.

Jem and the Holograms (PG) As a small-town girl catapults from underground video sensation to global superstar, she and her three sisters begin a journey of discovering that some talents are too special to keep hidden.

Pan (PG) – The story of an orphan who is spirited away to the magical Neverland. There, he finds both fun and dangers, and ultimately discovers his destiny — to become the hero who will be forever known as Peter Pan.

Flick’s Family Film Festival continues at Celebration! Cinema through October 29. See a listing of movies here. Celebration! Cinema will also bring Flick’s Festive Favorites for one weekend, December 11 through 13. Titles will be announce soon. All Flick’s movies are free for kids 12 and under and $5 for adults.
