GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) A West Catholic High School student is sharing her love of reading by providing books to children.

Anna started Anna’s Bookshelf after hearing from a family friend who provided books to children at her laundromat. Anna recognized the need for children to have their own books, so she sorted through her own collection and started gathering books from family and friends.

Anna sorts the books by age group and brings them to the laundromat with a sign telling kids they can bring a book home to keep on their own book shelf. Anna brought the first load of about 120 books to the laundromat in August and will be replenishing them as they run out.
