Milk Means More is behind a push to make chocolate milk the sports drink of choice for Michigan schools. The Chocolate Milk: Nature’s Sports Drink grant is available to high schools in Michigan. They can receive cash to purchase low-fat chocolate milk for their team to replenish with after practices and games for the entire season, up to two soft-sided wheeled cooler bags for easy milk transport, prizes, nutrition education materials to use for the promotion of Chocolate Milk: Nature’s Sports Drink, and professional posters featuring the teams’ chocolate milk mustache photo. The deadline to apply for spring sports is January 29, 2016.
