GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOODT)-Make a Wish Michigan aims to bring hope, strength, and joy to children battling life-threatening medical conditions in West Michigan. This year, the goal is to make wishes come true for 400 kids. This year’s Walk for wishes brought in 600 participants, who raised more than $115,000. All of the funds raised will stay in the West Michigan community. This year, more than 400 wishes will be granted, but there’s more to be done, and your support is needed. If you were not in attendance of the walk, donations are still being accepted. The average cost of wish is$8,000. When you make a donation to Make-A-Wish Michigan, know that 80-percent of every dollar goes to the Michigan wish granting program.
