GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) – The Talsma Concert Series is back at Rosa Parks Circle in Grand Rapids for ArtPrize7, featuring some well-known acts for the last three days of the art competition.
The 2015 lineup kicks off Wednesday, Oct. 7 and runs through Friday, Oct. 9, featuring performers like Matt Giraud, who appeared on “American Idol” and Tony Lucca, who appeared on NBC’s “The Voice.”
The acts will perform in front of live audiences between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. each night. Every concert is free and open to the public. Below is the official lineup:
Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015:
Big Sherb: 5 p.m. – 6:20 p.m.
Big Sherb, a band from Mt. Pleasant, will make its Talsma Concert Series debut this year. The funk-jam fusion band’s debut album was released in 2015 and is available on iTunes.
American Wi-Fi: 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
American Wi-Fi is an up-and-coming band out of Grand Rapids that has already made a name for itself regionally with high-energy, live performances and melodic songwriting. The headliner of the night took home the Pop/Electronic Award last year at ArtPrize6.

Lucas Wilson & The Bad Disciples: 5 p.m. – 6:20 p.m.
Lucas Wilson is making his way back to the Talsma Concert Series stage after originally appearing in the lineup in 2012. This year, he’s back with The Bad Disciples. Wilson, a Michigan-based singer-songwriter, has been in the business for more than a decade.
Tony Lucca: 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Tony Lucca, a Detroit native, placed third on NBC’s “The Voice” in 2012. Since then, he landed a record deal and in 2014, he finished his eighth studio album. With his band, he brings a mix of rock, soul and funk to Grand Rapids.

Matt Giraud finished in the top five on “American Idol” in 2009 and now lives in Nashville where he continues to make music. On the night of the ArtPrize awards watch party, Giraud and his band will play two sets – one from 5 p.m. to 6:20 p.m. and then again from 7 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
