Program ensures kids can eat year round

Meet Up Eat Up

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Maranda Park Parties provide an opportunity for thousands of children to eat a nutritious lunch, thanks in part to the Meet Up and Eat Up program.

The program by the Michigan Departments of Education, Health and Human Services, and Agriculture and Rural Development, along with their partners, is crucial for students who depend on the federal school meals program during the school year.
