ALLENDALE, Mich. (WOTV) If you’re looking for some family fun with a scientific twist, you’ll want to head to Allendale this weekend for the 4th Annual Allendale Community Field Day!

Allendale Community Field Day encourages families and children to get outdoors and learn about the environment through hands-on activities. This year’s theme is “Things that Pollinate.” Participants can plant a pollination garden, see a bee hive, talk to bee experts, and help build bee hives that will be placed around the campus of Grand Valley State University.

Allendale Community Field Day is Saturday, June 13 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Allendale K-8 Campus. It is free, with a free lunch provided.
