The Children’s Garden opens for the season! Enjoy games, crafts, and hands-on activities. Each child will receive a free sapling tree will supplies last. $2 donation per person requested.
Butterflies are Blooming, Frederik Meijer Gardens, Grand Rapids

Last weekend to see the annual exhibition! Tropical butterflies from around the world fly freely in the Tropical Conservatory. Butterfly-themed activities in the Lena Meijer Children’s Garden. Included with general admission.
National Astronomy Day, Veen Observatory, Lowell Township
Saturday, April 25
The James C. Veen Observatory will be open to the public every second and last Saturday evening of the month starting April 25. Admission: $3 for adults, $2 for 17 and under, free for Grand Rapids Public Museum members.

Museums Free for All, Grand Rapids

The Grand Rapids Art Museum, Grand Rapids Children’s Museum, Grand Rapids Public Museum, and Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum are all free for the afternoon! Free shuttle rides to and from all participating museums.
