GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Studies show kids in West Michigan are trying drugs and alcohol as early as age 12. But there are things parents can do to help make sure their kids don’t engage in dangerous behavior. The best way is by talking to them, and talking sooner.
The Talk Sooner Campaign aims to help parents understand how children feel about marijuana use, and the myths and facts surrounding it.
Parents can download the Talk Sooner App to ensure they have true information and tips for talking to their kids about substance abuse. The app is available on the App Store or Google Play.
The Talk Sooner team will be at the West Michigan Home and Garden Show Thursday through Sunday at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids.
