February is Lactose Intolerance Awareness Month, and United Dairy Industry of Michigan is getting the word out that people who are lactose intolerant can still enjoy delicious dairy foods.
Lactose intolerance is the inability to completely absorb the lactose in milk. It’s different from an allergy, so people who are lactose intolerant can still enjoy dairy products like yogurt and hard cheeses.
