Raising money through the River Bank Run


GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Thousands of runners will pound the pavement at the Fifth Third River Bank Run on May 9, and many of them will be running for something other than themselves. Participants have the opportunity to raise money for a number of charities through the River Bank Run.

True North Community Services was selected as a charity partner. The non-profit group provides programs in 63 counties throughout Michigan. Their services include addressing rural poverty, ensuring youth thrive, building vibrant communities, and providing innovative rural non-profit leadership. Those interested in finding information on True North or needing help can visit their website and use the resource search tool to find services available in their county.
