GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) Schools around West Michigan have been busy with special activities for the holidays. Students at two West Michigan schools got a special holiday surprise, thanks to the generosity of their communities.
Students at Hope Academy in Grand Rapids got a very special surprise: a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Santa’s bag was bursting with presents for each and every child, thanks to Lacks Industries.
At Ken-O-Sha Early Childhood Special Education Center, students each received a gift thanks to students from Rockford High School’s Fellowship Christian Athletes club. The group recognized that children need new underwear, but wanted to make it fun by including another gift as well. Rockford State Farm stepped in to help with a generous $500 donation.
