You’re invited to a live taping of a television special

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) You’re invited to a special event where you can take a walk down memory lane in Grand Rapids. “Holiday Memories of Grand Rapids, Michigan” is a holiday television special full of music, local celebrities, memories and more. The special will be filmed live at Wealthy Street Theater located at 1130 Wealthy St SE, Grand Rapids, Mich. 49506 on Monday, Dec. 15 at 7:30 p.m.

The special features Edye Evans Hyde, Kathy Gibson, Maranda from WOTV 4 Women, Mary Rademacher, Eva Aguirre Cooper from WOOD TV8’s Connecting with Community and more.

This special is inspired by a video created by Fubble Entertainment that highlighted holiday memories from the past. The video was watched more than 22,000 times. The team thrilled by the excitement shown from the community strived to recover some of these memories by creating this holiday special inspired by the video. The entertainment company hopes to produce a feature-length film based on these memories called, “The Santa Hat.”

Come as you are or dress in 50’s or 60’s inspired clothes! Seats will be saved for those dressed in 50’s or 60’s inspired clothing at the front of the performance venue and those seated in the front seats may be seen on TV.

In addition to a live taping the show will air on WOOD TV8 on Dec. 24 at 7 p.m., Dec. 25 at 5 p.m. and Dec. 26 at 11 a.m. and on WOTV 4 Women on Dec. 26 at 7 p.m.

Tickets for the live taping are $20 for adults and $12 for children 12 – 17. No child under 12 will be admitted. You can purchase tickets at:
