GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV)-Heart of West Michigan United Way is looking for volunteers for tutoring and tax preparation. Though you may be busy this time of year, it only takes 30-minutes once a week to volunteer and help a child with reading skills. You can become a United Way Schools of Hope tutor and help improve early-grade reading in our community. All it takes is to attend a one-time, one hour training.
