GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV)-West Michigan Woman Magazine put on the annual Wine & Wig celebration, where men and women wore festive wigs to benefit local charity. This year, Baxter Community Center of Grand Rapids was selected as the local charity partner.
Wine and Wig is a fun way to have a gala with a twist. The event is organized by West Michigan Woman magazine. This year, it will benefit the Baxter Community Center, which provides services and resources for the Baxter neighborhood in Grand Rapids.
Attendees enjoyedgreat entertainment, dancing, music, a silent auction, raffle, and door prizes. One hundred percent of raffle and silent auction proceeds will go to Baxter Community Center. Wine and Wig 2013 raised more than $15,000 for Susan G. Komen.
