Fennville Goose Festival
Saturday, October 11 – Sunday, October 12
Wild Goose Chase 5K, Gosling Run for kids, Goose Festival Parade, classic car show, student art shows, historical exhibits, goose calling competitions, arts and crafts show, petting zoo, and live performances. Free!
Walk with Maranda, Air Zoo, Portage
Saturday, October 11, 9:30 a.m.
Walk with Maranda through the Air Zoo. $5 admission gets you the walk, a t-shirt, and admission to the Air Zoo for the rest of the day. Registration starts at 8 a.m.
The Pumpkin Carve, Holland Farmers Market
Saturday, October 11, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Some of the nation’s best professional pumpkin carvers will demonstrate their skills and compete in speed carving events. Enter an amateur pumpkin carving competition to win prizes. Fun fall activities for kids from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Voting for People’s Choice Award from 10 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Free!
Fall Carnival, Holland Community Aquatic Center
Saturday, October 11, 1 – 4 p.m.
Carnival activities, games, photo booth, pie-eating contest, open swim for all ages. Bring a canned food item and be entered into a special rubber ducky drawing for prizes! $5.50 per person or $4.50 per person for groups of 4 or more.
Pumpkin Path, Lamar Park, Wyoming
Saturday, October 11, 5 – 7 p.m.
Kids can collect prizes, toys and candy along the path. A pumpkin carving and decorating contest will be held. Pumpkins must be delivered the morning of the event. Costumes optional.
