PORTAGE, Mich. (WOTV) The United Dairy Industry of Michigan is partnering with the NFL to launch the campaign, “Play Like Me.” It is aimed at getting students active. More than half of kids are considered inactive, with technology being a big barrier to getting outside and playing.

UDIM works with the Detroit Lions to encourage kids to “Fuel Up to Play 60” by eating nutritious food and exercising 60 minute a day. They can win NFL prizes by showing the way they like to play. Fuel Up to Play 60 is in nearly 3,000 schools in Michigan.

UDIM3Maranda visited Moorsbridge Elementary School in Portage, where students took part in a special assembly for “Play Like Me.”
