GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) On September 5 and 6, Calder Plaza will be packed with dancing, music, and lots of delicious food! The annual Hispanic Festival in Grand Rapids promises to be bigger and better than ever!
The Hispanic Center of Western Michigan is helping coordinate the festival. Some of the events you can enjoy this year are live entertainment, a monarch butterfly release on Friday with John Ball Zoo and kids activities with the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum on Saturday.
Ottawa Avenue will be closed Saturday morning for the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan 3v3 Futsal Tournament. There will also be live entertainment and a mercado featuring traditional and artisan wares.
The Hispanic Festival is September 5 and 6 from 11:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. You can find more information and a schedule of events on their website.
