Along with art programs at local hospitals, Artists Creating Together brings students with disabilities together with artists and art projects.
The art program is provided by Artists Creating Together, a non-profit organization that brings students with disabilities together with artists and art projects. If you’d like to get involved-Volunteering is a wonderful way. You can assist students during weekly art classes, paint faces during an Early Childhood night or even help with special events.
Mary Free Bed provides services to children from across the state of Michigan, which includes approximately 140 in-patient youth and children each year. Lengths of stays last between 2-6 months, so it’s important that these kids have a creative outlet to help in the rehabilitation process.
