GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) The best female golfers in the world will call West Michigan home for one week, as the Meijer LPGA Classic takes place August 4 through 10.
The tournament will take place at Blythefield Country Club in Belmont. It brings in some of the best golfers in the world, representing 29 countries.
A great part of the Meijer LPGA Classic is all of the events that go with it. All week long, there are activities such as a concert, a 5K, and a celebrity chef cookoff. You can see a schedule of events and find ticket information online.
Proceeds from each event help feed the hungry in our community through Meijer’s Simply Give program, which supports food pantries in all Meijer areas. Your $10 donation is converted into a Meijer food-only gift card and distributed to local food pantries.
Tickets to the Meijer LPGA Classic range from $15 to $50. Children 17 and under are free with a ticketed adult. You can get passes online or at the gate. Parking is at Fifth Third Ballpark with shuttle service to the golf course.
