Learn how to volunteer at the zoo

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) John Ball Zoo is a great place to visit, but it’s an even better place to volunteer! The zoo is in operation year-round, and needs people in every season. Some of the jobs can include landscaping, animal care, preparing food, cleaning the exhibits, or participating in education programs. No experience is required; the zoo provides training.

To learn more about volunteering at John Ball Zoo, visit their website or call Jim at (616) 336-4317 or by email at jswarts@jbzoo.org. You can also come to an informational session on Sunday, August 17 at 2 p.m. It will be held on the second floor of the Zoo Administration building just outside the zoo gate.
