GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) The Meijer LPGA Classic is headed to Grand Rapids August 4 through 10, bringing the top female golfers in the world to West Michigan. The tournament will take place at Blythefield Country Club in Belmont. The event is about more than golf. It brings in some of the best golfers in the world, representing 29 countries. It’s nationally televised, and with social media, eyes from all over the world will be on West Michigan!
Another great part of the Meijer LPGA Classic is all of the events that go with it. All week long, there are activities such as a concert, a 5K, a ladies night, and a celebrity chef cookoff. You can see a schedule of events online. Proceeds from each event help feed the hungry in our community through Meijer’s Simply Give program.
The Meijer LPGA Classic runs from August 4 through 10 at Blythefield Country Club in Rockford. Tickets range from $15 to $50. Children 17 and under are free with a ticketed adult. You can get passes online or at the gate. Parking is at Fifth Third Ballpark with shuttle service to the golf course.
