GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOTV) An exciting program is helping teach young people important life skills. “You Are What You Eat” is open to people ages 14 to 21 who live in Kent County.
The program is geared toward healthy eating and nutrition. In the first week, participants meet with a dietician to learn about proper food portions and the nutritional values of different fruits and vegetables. In the second week, participants go to Gilda’s Club and cook. In the third week, they gather at the Kroc Center to exercise. The program is free!
