MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOTV) Smith Ryerson Park in Muskegon is the site of the fourth Maranda Park Party of the summer on Thursday, July 24. It’s a beautiful park with a lot of space and a lot of amenities.
More than 50 vendors and non-profit organizations are planning to attend to make this a super-sized, super fun party! Priority Health will be there to pass out 5,000 backpacks. They’ve been at every Park Party for the last five years, putting 500,000 backpacks in the hands of children in the communities they serve. Muskegon Police Department, Fire Department, and the Muskegon County Sheriff’s Department will be there with activities and exhibits to make sure it’s a fun and safe.
Maranda Park Party in Muskegon gives everyone in the community a chance to come together and see things they might not otherwise experience.
Sumner Avenue will be one way on the day of the Park Party. There will be plenty of on street parking, and visitors can walk into the park.
Free lunch for anyone 18 and under starts at 11:30 a.m. and the party is from noon until 2 p.m. Everyone is invited and everything is free!Tweets by @marandaTV
